PA Firefighter Injured in Rollover Collision with Tractor-Trailer

A Walnuttown Fire Company tanker was responding to a structure fire when it was involved in a collision with a tractor-trailer in Berks County.

A Pennsylvania firefighter was injured after the tanker he was driving was in a rollover accident Wednesday.

Walnuttown Fire Company crews were responding to a structure fire in Berks County just before 12:30 p.m., the Reading Eagle reports. That's when a tractor-trailer collided with a tanker, overturning the apparatus.

A firefighter suffered minor injuries in the accident and was taken to the hospital for evaluation. The tractor-trailer driver also was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The accident is under investigation.
